In my last blog I wrote about how I managed to get out of a creative rut by stumbling onto a solution in the humdrum routine of my daily commute to work. There’s been no life-changing epiphany or explosion of new stuff – that’s not how it works – but I am making a more conscious effort to use the time I have available to continue creating photos.
Something I am doing is being less fussy or hung up about when I get creative.
My morning commute on the Tyne & Wear Metro continues to be a good time to do this, so here’s a few I made one morning last week.
I took these with my iPhone, using an app called Spectre that simulates long exposures, taking a 3 sec shot then processing them with the Snapseed app.
Metro windows are rarely clean so they suit this blurry impressionist style of shot. 🙂
Thanks once again for reading.
Wishing you all the best for 2022.
